I'm a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in the state of Florida with over six years of experience supporting preschool and elementary-aged children in school-based settings. I specialize in helping children develop speech clarity and language skills so they can communicate confidently at home and at school.

Untangled Speech Therapy was created to provide families with personalized, convenient speech therapy through secure teletherapy, without long waitlists or the stress of traveling to appointments. My goal is to create engaging, supportive sessions where children feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to learn.

What to Expect

  1. A free consultation to discuss your child’s communication needs and determine if services are a good fit.

2. Comprehensive intake and evaluation to guide individualized treatment planning.

3. Ongoing, individualized speech therapy with caregiver collaboration and support.

  • Support for expressive and receptive language development, including vocabulary, sentence structure, and comprehension. Therapy also targets social communication skills such as turn taking, conversational skills, perspective-taking, and problem solving through structured activities, role-play, and guided interaction.

  • Therapy for children who have difficulty producing speech sounds clearly. Sessions target articulation and phonological patterns to help improve speech clarity, confidence, and overall communication.

  • Child-centered support for children who stutter. Therapy focuses on building confidence, reducing communication pressure, and developing effective fluency strategies in a supportive, understanding environment.

  • Assessment and therapy using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), including modeling and caregiver guidance. Services support children who benefit from speech-generating devices, picture systems, signs, or multimodal communication.

Pricing

Untangled Speech Therapy is a private-pay teletherapy practice. I do not accept insurance at this time; however, a superbill may be provided upon request for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Payment is due at the time of service. A free consultation is available to determine if services are a good fit before scheduling.

  • A brief phone or video call to discuss your child’s communication needs, ask questions, and determine whether virtual speech therapy is a good fit. This consultation provides guidance on next steps and is for parents/guardians only. It does not replace a formal evaluation.

  • Includes a detailed parent interview, record review, formal and informal assessment, and clinical observations. You will receive individualized recommendations and a written summary outlining next steps.

  • One-on-one virtual speech therapy tailored to your child’s unique communication needs. Sessions are engaging, evidence-based, and designed to support meaningful progress.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments (no-shows), are charged the full session fee. This policy allows time to offer sessions to other families and ensures consistent care for all clients. Exceptions may be considered for emergencies on a case-by-case basis.

  • Families can begin by joining the Summer 2026 Interest List.

    Once availability opens, I’ll schedule an initial intake and assessment to better understand your child’s communication needs and determine whether teletherapy is a good fit. If appropriate, ongoing therapy services will then be scheduled.

  • Untangled Speech Therapy provides individualized, relationship-based teletherapy that meets each child where they are. Therapy is play-based, family-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I focus on functional communication, caregiver education, and meaningful progress that carries over into daily life, not just skills practiced on a screen.

  • Yes! Research supports teletherapy as an effective option for many speech and language needs. Sessions are interactive, engaging, and designed to support carryover into the home environment. I also work closely with caregivers to ensure strategies can be used outside of sessions.

  • Evaluations are typically 60 minutes and are scheduled based on your child’s needs and availability.

    Therapy sessions are usually 45 minutes and most often occur once or twice per week, depending on your child’s goals, attention, and recommended level of support.

    Session frequency and duration are always individualized and discussed together following the evaluation.

  • Yes. Evaluations are available independently and include a comprehensive assessment, written report, and recommendations for next steps.

  • At this time, Untangled Speech Therapy is a private-pay practice. I do not bill insurance directly; however, I can provide a superbill and supporting documentation upon request for families who wish to pursue out-of-network reimbursement through their insurance provider.

    Many families chose private-pay services for flexibility, individualized care, and shorter wait times.

  • Families will need a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone (computer or tablet preferred). Additional materials, if needed, will be discussed ahead of sessions.
